Jeff Loomis Guitar Strings - Raven VII Signature Set 9-62

Expanding the Depth of Your Weapon. Unleash The Beast.

Are six strings just not enough for you? When you’re bending steel at lightspeed and dropping hyper-technical, neoclassical sweep-picking runs, standard factory-made strings just won't cut it. They snap, lose tension, and turn your tone to mud.

That’s why Von Frankenstein Monster Gear forged a lethal partnership with the absolute titan of technical metal: Jeff Loomis (Nevermore, Conquering Dystopia). Widely regarded as an ultimate guitarist’s guitarist, Loomis redefined modern progressive thrash and heavy metal riffing on iconic masterpieces like Dead Heart in a Dead World and This Godless Endeavor. To sustain that level of ruthless speed, intricate precision, and punishing rhythmic attack, Jeff needed strings built like armor.

Enter the Raven VII.

“These are the perfect gauges for my 7 string guitars. I tune down a half step. They are not too light, not too heavy. They are ideal when standing up with a strap in live settings and comfortable doing deep bends and vibrato.” – Jeff Loomis

Handcrafted Superiority. Zero Compromise.

We don't do cheap, mass-produced assembly lines. Every single string in the Raven series is built one at a time on a U.S. workbench using premium, domestically sourced raw materials.

We take ultra-durable, treated hex steel cores and meticulously wrap them with high-grade nickel-plated steel. This unhurried, bench-built process delivers unmatched tuning stability, razor-sharp tension, and a blistering, harmonic-rich response that holds up to the most aggressive picking attack on the planet. Whether you're flying through complex neoclassical arpeggios or laying down heavy low-end rhythm, these strings stay tight, punch hard, and refuse to die.
