THE VON FRANKENSTEIN MONSTER Humbucker is the result of five years of intensive research and development by Von Frankenstein Monster Gear, in collaboration with pickup designer JD Mauro of Route 30 Pickups.
Patented and engineered for clarity at extreme stage volumes, THE VON FRANKENSTEIN MONSTER features 12 proprietary custom hex bolt pole pieces, three oversized ceramic magnets, and uniquely wound bobbins carefully balanced to optimize inductance and low-end response. With an average inductance of 7.4H and an average resistance of 13.3 kOhms, it delivers tight, focused bass, aggressive attack, and high-output performance without muddiness under heavy gain.
A black nickel-plated nickel steel base plate and black powder-coated open-faced cover protect the custom coils inside. The large hex bolt surface allows universal compatibility with both 49.2mm and 53mm string-spaced guitars.

This pickup seriously kicks ass!
The one thing I keep coming back to.. how much clarity this pickup has. It's high output with tons of gain, yet it's clear at any volume level. I freakin love it and want another.

Tone Beast!
The monster design is rad. The high-output pickup is a gain beast with tight low end. Feels like a wall of sound through my Mesa cab. Very happy I purchased this for my October Guitars Annihilator. Ease of installation and Tone exceeded my expectations.
