Can you handle BeastMode™? Handcrafted with real USA steel, these strings are a beast. Von Frankenstein bass strings are made on a U.S. workbench using the best-available, domestically sourced, raw materials. Each string is made by hand, one at a time, with nickel-plated steel that’s carefully wrapped around a treated hex steel core. Through this meticulous process, Von Frankenstein avoids rushing and mass production, ensuring the quality, feel, and durability required by the most discerning of tone freaks.

“These strings are far superior to anything I’ve used before. We went through many different alloys and configurations to find the perfect combination of crushing tone, strength, durability, and most of all…feel. The feel so much better. For the first time ever, my hands did not cramp after a show,” said Von Frankenstein.

A story for The Misfit's, and Doyle. Let's call it Mikey.

Mikey (aka little Mike, Little Danzig, GPC (*Generic Pack of Cigarettes/ GPC Ganja Park Crew/Seasemy Street Punks/Santa Ana Punks), Is scene in at a back yard patio show for Litmus Green's first show in Santa Ana, off Mohawk Street i think. He's scene here in both pictures of the pit, 1st pic he's wearing the black sex pistols Tshirt, and 2nd pic Huly and Jerry are carying him around on thier shoulders in the pit. Little Skater Mike, had a Crismin Ghost Skull/Misfits Skull tattooed on his left arm but it was a black skull inverted. He would hang around all the kids at the GPC house in Santa Ana, a place I would hang out with my VW bug, my part time job for gas and vinyl records that I would tape and play in my car (I had the Yellow Plan 9 Skull Comp/Misfits Tape original by 1992.) The GPC park was a hang out for the after school kids, and alot of young kids who became punks, or skaters, or just kids who smoke cig's or pot sometimes. They would pimp beer at the old Trader Joe's on Main street, drink in the park, and cop's never even stopped as they passed by on their motorcycles (the court house was only 2 blocks away from the neighborhood. I would pick up VW Bug loads of kids in that area including Mike Armijo (Mikey), and we ended up going to so many Where House Parties at "Coming Soon", Chee Cafe in San Diego, all over Hollywood/LA, & many back yard parties in the city of Santa Ana in the early 90's. Mike was kinda tough , just like Danzin, he had a sharp mouth on him, and eveyone honestly liked him, and he was actually younger than the entire crowd. After I dropped out of the ongoing punk scene in Orange County, i went to College, and was very busy up to Y2K. during the 90's at some point, Mikey, and another close friend were train hoping, and we believe he was attempting to jump onto a movie train, and slipped, hit his head etc, and is now dead. He always was a cool friend, and died a teenager after his highschool days, playing the adventure card, and paid the price. Mikey loved the Misfit's! And that's my story about little Mike as scene in the first two picturs with the devil lock.

These things RIP!!

Damn do these sound good. Clean, mean and clanky. Sounded awesome right out of the package, barely had to re tune due to stretching. They hold their tone extremely well. You could beat on these things for days and days and they’ll never lose their clarity. Will absolutely be buying more in the future.

Thank you very much
